I moved from Honolulu to San Francisco in September 2001, with very little knowledge of non-Asian cuisine. Sparked by a boyfriend obsessed with Thomas Keller and the Zagat Guide, I began learning about French and California cuisine and thus began my love affair with the amazing food culture of the Bay Area.
Today, I work for a company that sells fine & rare wines (a great way to support my love of Pinot and Champagne!). When I'm not working, running, or happy hour-ing, I'm probably exploring a farmer's market, ethnic food store, heading to wine country, or cooking something for friends. Enjoy the blog!
